Diesel Fuel needs to be near boiling point before it catches fire . The Chief Fire Officer of Bedfordshire should know that .

At a guess, he knows quite a lot more about fires than approximately 100% of the people on the interweb.

Guy who videoed said it is reg E10EFL, which is not hybrid

Possible explanation on that video: "The DPFs on diesels get very hot during a regen cycle and most have a fuel feed into the DPF for that to happen, it would have been under the front of the passenger compartment, as in most modern diesels... so, a broken fuel pipe sprayed fuel onto a very hot exhaust component?"
