American Skinheads: The Criminology and Control of Hate Crime
By Mark S. Hamm
Chin was a Chinese-American beaten to death in 1982 with baseball bats by white auto workers shouting anti- Japanese epithets. His killers got only probation, too.

Young Black Man Killed After Being Chased by White Mob in Howard Beach, New York
On December 20, 1986, 23-year-old Michael Griffith and friends Cedric Sandiford and Timothy Grimes were traveling from Brooklyn to Queens in New York, New York. When their car broke down in Howard Beach, a predominantly white, middle-class Queens neighborhood, the three young black men walked to a local restaurant and asked to use the phone. They were refused and sat down at a table where they were soon confronted by a group of white teenagers. After a brief verbal altercation, the white teens left to attend a party, where one announced: “There’s some ******* in the pizza parlor -- let’s go kill them.”

When Griffith, Sandiford, and Grimes exited the restaurant soon after, the white teens returned with baseball bats and tree limbs. Grimes ran fast enough to escape the attack but Griffith and Sandiford were brutally beaten.

Bloody Sunday – a day that shamed America
By MURPHY BROWNE

Sunday, March 7, 1965 became known as “Bloody Sunday” because on that day a group of African-Americans (including children and the elderly) were viciously attacked by baton wielding White supremacist thugs, with the blessing of the Alabama state government.
“Facing us at the bottom of the other side, stood a sea of blue-helmeted, blue-uniformed Alabama state troopers, line after line of them, dozens of battle ready lawmen stretched from one side of U.S. Highway 80 to the other. Behind them were several dozen more armed men – Sheriff Clark’s posse – some on horseback, all wearing khaki clothing, many carrying clubs the size of baseball bats.
This attack happened on a Sunday in a community of people who prided themselves on being civilized Christians and was carried out by a gang of degenerate, depraved creatures who used C-4, a particularly toxic form of tear gas, and barbed wire-wrapped rubber hoses to viciously beat defenseless people whose only “crime” was wanting to be treated as human beings.

Hope you permanently offended types don't watch films where people get hung, shot, stabbed or drowned. Apparently that kinda stuff happened to some black people over the years. I was watching an old war film the other week. A black guy was killed by a flamethrower. It was so racist I nearly exploded. I've written to the beeb to ensure no one is allowed to watch it again.

Why did you think it was racist?

I am surprised by the number of inventors on this forum. There is Mitch, Judy, Transam, Woodbine, EFL all inventing a virtual reality for themselves to inhabit. It is markedly different from the reality that everyone else inhabits. Maybe they watch too many films. :ROFLMAO:

that's a very poor attempt.

It's no surprise that a T shirt quoting from "grab a ****** by his toe" can be seen as a racist slogan.

Or a T shirt with a picture of a vicious weapon can be seen as violent

Now tell us why you think your war film is racist.

The use of the N-word has been expunged from that slogan for decades. You appear to be a rare person who still uses that version. So who, exactly, is the racist? The people who have been using the modernised slogan, or the Alf Garnett types such as yourself and Ian Lucraft who see the N-word where the rest of us don't? You betray yourselves as the only ones with the N-word running around inside your heads...

Never mentioned the N word. That rhyme has been around for years and has many versions. There is nothing racist about saying eeny meeny miny. You just like to defend people from issues that aren't there. That's fine. It fills a need for you. Remember though, most people aren't continually looking for an excuse to cry racist.

I am aware of that. Can you show otherwise?

Just you with your alleged letter of complaint to the BBC then, for reasons you cannot explain.

John D. Never mentions racist issues....well not unless there isn't any.

Just you with your alleged letter of complaint to the BBC then, for reasons you cannot explain.
Silly John being disingenuous as usual! If a T-shirt with a picture of a baseball bat is racist because a tiny number of black people have been racially attacked with baseball bats in the past, then an image of a gun -especially a gun shooting a black person- must be even more racist, since more black people have been racially attacked with guns in the past. #logic

T-shirt with a picture of a baseball bat is racist

So in your mind, the picture is more racist than the slogan?

Do you go to football matches and make amusing gas-chamber noises? Or amusing monkey noises?

So in your mind, the picture is more racist than the slogan?
No, in my mind neither of them is racist. One is a baseball bat. The other is a slogan which -perhaps when you were a boy- had the N-word in it, but has not done during my lifetime. Both are symbolic of a popular TV show. Only you and Ian Lucraft appear to be able to see a "a racially explicit graphic and text" that is "fantastically offensive" and "subliminal messages".
