When those with defined benefits pensions that they didn't pay enough for, hand them back so that the organisations funding them can lower their costs to everyone who doesn't have such a pension. Thus it will no longer be necessary for those without defined benefits pensions to use rental property as a source of pension income.

Your word jumble is of course totally irrelevant to the concept of forcing owners to sell homes at half price.

Its always a word jumble / salad when the person doesn't like the answer given.

The fact is, it's as unfair to ask private landlords to sell off their assets cheaply, as it is for those who have defined benefits pensions that they contributed very little towards, to give them up. But both contribute to higher costs of living for those without either.

20% of council tax goes on pensions for example.

But you said subsidised housing costs for existing renters was a good thing.

Is it, or isn't it ?

And yet you approve of owners being forced to sell off their assets cheaply, when they are rented homes.

You certainly gave the impression of approving

And the lefties hate poorer people having a chance to buy a home they’ve rented for years at a discount.

Or do you now consider yourself to be a "lefty"?

Very sinister.

Do you approve of people being able to buy their council house, that they have rented for years at a discount?

I don't approve of owners being forced to sell their property at half price.

You do.

We wouldn"t have a housing crisis if we didn't have an over population crisis. There is just many people on the planet!

We don’t have an over population crisis.

The U.K. has consistently low unemployment, so if we had millions less people we would have an economy stifled by labour shortages.

The housing crisis is the fault of domestic politics…..funny how those politicians and their client media focus all the blame onto foreigners.
