Old Conservatives don't understand

I've done the 80 hour weeks working away from home in construction. staying in poor accomodation due to your low allowance, and eating takeaways because of lack of facilities. after a few years your health suffers. we really do now have a massive divided society.

You will always have people in low paid jobs and incomes, even more so now. They still need a place to live and raise a family.
Which is why rich council tennets with their BMWs - range rovers/ audi's should be kicked out when their income reaches a certain amount.

If you c&p a select paragraph from the link it saves having to go through the whole thing.

Just sayin'.

What's the fixation with 20 years ago? Is it "Rishi is doing ok because Blair was worse"?

Shall we go back 4 years then, in that case 25-34s age group homeowners is increasing, and the graph in the discussion go's back to the 1990s.

Picking and choosing the statistics to make the vested interests seem very successful. Always happens. Long term the Tories are normalising greed and poverty. Very underhand tactics to privatise everything. Their answer always seems to be to lower the wages , reduce the service and pay themselves more. If you are part of the clique at the top , happy days.

If the current system is working very well for you, why would you care ? It's only when you hit hard times you see how things really are." Don't get sick , lose your job or grow old without a private pension" applied in the 1980s Tory rule. Lot more loans and credit available now. Long term how is it going to pan out ? "Don't get sick, lose your job or grow old without a private pension"
