Petition to Prohibit employers from requiring staff to be vaccinated against Covid-19

The British Medical Journal published several articles on this, quoting percentile figures even higher than 50%. The most recent article I have read was published on 2nd September 2021.

I know at the Royal Derby hospital near me that several friends who work there had the 'finger prick' test and all but one of the four showed antibodies. They test for them fortnightly.
Yes, I was right.

It took until March 2021 before 50% of people tested positive for antibodies. Yet again Gas is making stuff up.

Of course, on an anonymous forum, anyone can spin any yarn they want.

But for what it's worth... My 61 year old sister tested + last week and got progressively worse. Ended up on A&E. They tested the **** out of her, x rays, Cat scan, bloods (all very quick and efficient too btw). In the end, they said, "It's the virus, you just have to ride it out."

The consultant though, un-asked, said,

"This is what we are seeing now, more and more. I'm telling you, had you not been double jabbed, seeing the severity of your symptoms, you'd be dead by now".

My thought... Docs keep things close to their chest usually, so why offer such a black and white statement. 'Cos he was bloody certain, that's why.

Still, all lying for the government these docs eh?

so they give you the same vaccine thats not working on the mutation to combat the mutation i can see you never thought that through

Stupid is, as stupid does - that's the way we have had to just accept gas112.

The covid mutates all the time, they develop the vaccine to constantly match it, just as they do with the flue vaccine - not very good at joined up thinking are you?

No. You really are quite dishonest. Any evidence that it doesn't work?
if it worked they wouldnt be vaccinating people 3 times in 9 months and in some cases 4
So will boosters become mandatory to keep your vax status

really so can you give links to how the 3 main vaccines have been altered constantly since first administered to keep up with mutations

Not taking the troll's side at all, Harry, but...

Yes and no. "Covid is a clever virus as it has a 'spell checker' that stops mutations being released. What mutations have occured have all been changes around the spike protein. For a new mutation to take off it has to be more transmissable than the virus it is replacing. The Delta mutation is very very transmissable so mutation is unlikely, and if they do occur there is a strong likelihood the current vaccines will be protective. That doesnt mean we should not do genome testing on specimens but following the UK's lead many countries are doing this and that is how we get the data. Uger Sahin, the brains behind the mRNA vaccine has suggested he can produce a new vaccine if necessary in a matter of weeks. So the concern about mutations is falling."

An actual epidemiologist's words, rather than a keyboard expert- often useful.

Thank god for you lot! Without you all, I would have to rely on people who specialise in virology, epistemology and epidemiology.

What my daughter sent me.

Next time a custard tells me that his opinion is worth as much as mine I’ll take more notice.

As any Brexer will tell you, "the country has had enough of experts".

Prejudice and propaganda are much more convincing.

especially when they aren't true.
