OMG they must do that in Birmingham too as last year a carrot fell on me and nearly took my eye out...I always leave a carrot and a mince pie on the isolators

We build them on site. Simple enough to do. Just a rcd and fuse carrier and timer. The socket wiring comes from the timer which goes to the feed of the fuse. The feed for the RCD is just a link from the mains from the light. The rcd feeds the timerDo you have to make the timer, fuse and rcd up? Or are they pre-made?

Yes I always use a bit of Velcro under the plate so the reindeer’s can take them without dropping the plate.OMG they must do that in Birmingham too as last year a carrot fell on me and nearly took my eye out...

What a lovely smorgasbord of switchgear, very festive.I love Christmas lights. I always leave a carrot and a mince pie on the isolators as the reindeers often nibble on them as they are always peckish.

If you look at the gear we put in them, a real mash up, sangamo timer, Hager Rcd, Charles fuse holder and Gewiss housing.Do you have to make the timer, fuse and rcd up? Or are they pre-made?

Pretty much, We use whatever is on our van stock to knock them up. We have tried to standardise them so they are all the same components but we have digital timers of various makes which are a nightmare to us as some are old and we have no info on programming them. The Sangamo are the best as it does 7 days a week. The digital ones we program each individual day into them which takes longer. The sangamo we can be up and down in 5 mins.I noticed that. Are they industry standard sizes so that you can mix and match?

But nosenowt said you are just a light bulb changer.Pretty much, We use whatever is on our van stock to knock them up. I know, he would love me to be a nobody like he is. He tries his best to convince everyone though. But nosenowt said you are just a light bulb changer.
You must be making all this technical stuff up.

I wonder if he works for the BBC because they lie a lot about others. But nosenowt said you are just a light bulb changer.

The ones we have are ridiculous, none of us know how they are programmed, we just press loads of buttons and hope for the best. I had some that the lights all came on during the day and switched off at night.Often digital timers have jumpers on the back so you can choose 7 days the same or each day individually.

I noticed all the mish mash makes ya rough git...lolIf you look at the gear we put in them, a real mash up, sangamo timer, Hager Rcd, Charles fuse holder and Gewiss housing.
