Working in my own village today and first time I have noticed these. Every house on this road has one. Anyone know what they are?

I really don't know as never noticed them before, every house on this road had one. I couldn't see anyone to ask, a lot of women were staring at me through their windows but I didn't like to shout and ask.

No they are remote from the houses, some look like they are part of the house

doubt it, they look the same bricks as the houses so they were part of the building, I think sheep or pigs may have been kept as there wasn't supermarkets back then.
