OMG I had to see the nurse, she was dissapointed in my wanting to return to work as she wont be seeing me for some time again.. I had to take off my shirt for her and as I was unbuttoning it, she stopped me and said "slowly" so I had to virtually do a strip.

Maybe she meant slowly, incase you break your hip or summat?

Been ringing and texting the good news to everyone. Everyone is so excited at my return on Monday and all say they can't wait as I have been greatly missed. Gaffer rang me after I text him to say I will be in Monday morning, his responce "thank god." I think everyone realises now why I am number 1.

OMG I am returning to work on Monday and was super excited over this. I havent had a drink in 4 weeks and am feeling better and stronger by the day. All the lads at work are super excited at me returning and all know everything now will be fine and the work load will be eased as I am number 1. Through my door this morning I had a registered document of 40 pages from my firm about me and my mates disciplinary hearing.. OMG I thought they had swept it under the carpet.. It doesnt look good. I rang the gaffer to say if my mate gets sacked then I go with him, my gaffer said don't be crazy and do not jeapordise your position. Stuff that, he goes then I go too and that is final. I put the phone down on him, he keeps ringing me but I am not answering. Unbelievable after all this time.

Hey mate are you on the HV emergency job that was called in.
Me laughing at him. FFS gaffer I did that first thing this morning and now just smashing out jobs left right and centre. I am on job No 11 now.
Gaffer. Jesus Christ mate you have been missed whilst you were off. Place nearly shut down. Any chance you could work extra tonight?
Me. Yeah of course I can I am as fit as a fiddle and still No1.
Gaffer. That you are mate.
