I have to say, I adore peanut butter and Marmite together, but not the namby-pamby pre-mixed stuff.

I also like peanut butter with horse(radish) sauce and peanut butter and marmalade.

Cheddar and marmalade is good too.

    :)

Mottie, some yummy looking plates there!

Did you grill your beans too?

    Wot? No oatcakes?

Gotta have those with melted cheese!

    Kind of you to say!

I dunno, in my favour are other mixes of sweet and salty.

Bacon & maple syrup, for example.

    Mmmm. That's just reminded me.

My Gran on my Dad's side used to do a Rabbit stew with treacle.

    Breakfast: nothing.

    2 boiled eggs for lunch.

    Just had 4 small tomatoes.

    On a diet.

Have you had a go at making your own bacon? I’ve done it before and I think I’ll have to give it another go.

Noooo, no sweet & savory mix. I didn't even like those pineapple and cheddar cubes at kids parties. Ewwww!

Sorry, horses for courses and all that but marmite and peanut butter...? Ug!! :)

Leftovers this morning. The last of my blue eggs, the last of my mushrooms and I managed to cut some slices from the crust of my home made loaf. Oh, those eggs. Mmmmm:)

Double brekkie this morning and I’m stuffed!
We decided to walk our dog’s early today because it will be too hot later so we planned to meet at 8.00. I had kippers and toast at 7.00. After the walk, someone suggested trying a new cafe in Hutton, Bonnies. We went there and just to be polite I had a full English with a mug of tea. Followed by a slice of vanilla and caramel cake and another mug of tea. By 10.30 I was fit to burst. I may give lunch a miss today!
