Poached smoked haddock and poached eggs on seeded wholemeal bread.
Been in a B&B for 12 nights now, so that's 12 continental breakfasts. After this, I never want to see another baguette or croissant again.
No wonder they didn't win many wars, going into battle on bread and bits of things you find in the garden or ponds. Not exactly marching on their stomachs.

The butter is under the egg. The smear was me wiping the knife.

Actually a baguette filled with bacon, proper bacon. And a squeeze of HP.
Bought from Greggs at Winchester services. I know I said no more Frech stick, but it doesn't count if it's filled with English bacon. That's what F stick is for - the French are missing out. What do they know about food? Almost worth returning to Blighty for!
