A fridge/cupboard clear out. One egg, a couple of slices of bacon, some mushrooms about to expire and just one slice of bread so it was an open sandwich for brekkie.

Just got out of the swimming pool (not ours, I hasten to add!) and I'm now extremely peckish looking at that!
Bacon, tomato and mushroom baguette - without the mushrooms as I forgot to get them out of the fridge! 
Poached smoked haddock, poached eggs and asparagus. Arranged to,look like a face on my plate.
Cream cheese and smoked salmon bagels with a squeeze of lemon and freshly ground black pepper for Christmas Day brekkie along with a glass or two of Bucks Fizz. Been a tradition in the Mottie household for 30+ years.
Right, let’s get that turkey out of the freezer and into the oven, we've got all the family coming round in a few hours time….

Just joking - it’s been thawing out in the fridge since Saturday night. 106 hours in a fridge was the recommended thawing time - it’s a big bar steward !

Had a capon yesterday. Expensive but, by all accounts, extremely tasty. 10lb bird, with 9 scoffing it. £70.
Cooked 30 pigs in blankets, they all went. 3 lads in their 20s...They're like bleeding gannets...
Got a nice piece of topside for another day. Only small, nearly £40. Meat is not cheap and excellent quality meat is even more expensive.

Had some left over spuds, sprouts and carrots from yesterday’s roast.
