Wills

It sounds like you are in a financial position worthwhile using professional help (lucky you!). The fact that you don't have children makes things a little easier. With private client advisors (e.g. estate wealth managers etc) I think it's a bit of a hit and miss, i.e. same with trades! Go with a recommendation if you can and the cheapest ones will get you equivalent service.

I have used one and paid about ~1600 for some email advice and an ultimate 5 page document... I did it for peace of mind, in particular to manage where my son would go, if something happened to both of his parents. I think that was the most important reason for me to use a solicitor.

Regarding executor, mine allowed to have more than one. So for my assets I used my sister and the solicitor's trust and my wife's side did the same with her sister. We did this because all our direct families live abroad and they might not be familiar with UK laws etc. So the idea is to get a person close to you for the personal family topics, to work with a professional for the legal side. And there is no fixed split here, so the trust may also not get involved if your family member is able to manage all.

Chintzy loafers would not last five minutes in those aprés dives. Hoodies and fleeces get tied around the waist.

Interesting fact: Ischgl bans people stomping about in their ski boots after 8:00 pm.
Snowboarders keep their boots on though.

I do need some socks, but otherwise I'm ok.

7 figures in tax? I never know whether to take you seriously JP.
HMG takes 40%

I've said loads of times how it works. I don't trade all day or every day, but when there's news it's easy - something to do.
Yesterday Greenland stocks doubled in price, Meta has a new Agent thing, recently it was Moderna's new cancer drug.
You only need one thing at a time. I bought European natural gas recently which wasn't so clever..
If you have a probable rise like Greenland etc, you leverage and get 5x the %.
I keep about 1m in an account for that. You can buy with a trailing stop, and check it a couple of times. I still use a Youtube live channel, to copy.
Today's focus is Apple 338/40 long, Spacex 153 short, Sofi 17.25 long if it gets there. The index will probably rise generally today. Strong stocks won't rise much, it'll be the also-rans which get whipped up. If it goes to form. If not, go away.

There's alibaba with a new chip, too, I already have.

Much of that didn't work, so I'm only up a tad. The chips and bitcoin are doing well so I'll leave some there on a TS.

Its possible they aren't aware of the tax you are talking about.

Even if you inherited your partner's allowance. IHT will be 40p in the £ over £1M - so a £3.5M estate = 7figure tax bill and thats without any income or capital gains due in the year.

You can get hard snowboarding boots, but they are for speed freaks.

I’ve been in a club at 2am with my snowboarding gear still on, in fact I was doing that Russian dance with a few mates. Andorra 2012. The same thing happened in le Thule, that was in the chalet though
