IP Addresses thread - strangely turns to a God thread!

Actually, you guys have very little idea what i am capable of doing, if a child was crying out for help in a burning building, I would drop my cat and go and rescue him first, I would risk my own life to save someone's child, i think we all would do that, i am no special when this basic human instinct strikes, we would all jump at it, but I would go an extra length and save any pets as well. yes risk my life for animals as well, whilst you would stop just short of helping burning pets.

Oh I don't broadcast how many different charities I help as well, it includes children's charities. You guys have no right to judge me.

So, Mad Mike from London, your cat ( yuk ) is more precious than a human child? Saddo.

I think you must be more sadistic person to make comments like that, given the situation I was in, I didn't have to make a choice between a dying child and a dying cat, and I am not responsible for millions of other children dying of poverty or hunger or natural disasters, or other ailments, how many children could I pray for? and further more why should I pray for others who are not known to me while you sit back and do nothing yourself, how much are you contributing to help those poor children?

I`m still laughing at the statement by norcon that atheists killed more in 100 years than religion ever has , got to be most stupid statement i have ever seen in here

Google wrote
The atheist regimes of Stalin, Hitler , Mao, Pol Pot, and others murdered far more people than died in all the religious wars, persecution, etc, in history.
Atheists say that these folks weren't killing in the name of atheism. But the simple fact is that communism is an avowedly atheistic philosophy. These were atheists. The 20th century was by far the bloodiest in history. More people died at the hands of their own governments in the 20th century than were killed in all the wars in history combined before the 20th century. And the vast, vast, majority of this killing was done by atheistic regimes.

In light of this history, is it any wonder people are skeptical about atheist claims to morality and good-will? Atheists remain for good reason the most distrusted group in society. We've seen what happens when they hold the reins of power.

The truth hurts eh...

I think i know enough of your character by now thanks. You have broadcast more than enough information.

same here, I know your true colours as well, and know where to put my trust, I much rather trust an alligator! you are more vicious and cruel than a I thought, a poisonous snake! and I wouldn't like to cross your path!

If I was drowning, I would much rather an alligator came to me first and finish me off than you with your poisonous bite!

You do know that came out in public don't you?

No one said you were responsible. But if you can pray that hard for a cat that your God came down and saved it; imagine what your prayers should be able to achieve for all those created in his image that he, and it seems, you have forsaken?

Selective belief system coming to the fore again - with full effect.

"My cat"
"All the children".

One extra word. All the same force of conviction. And you my sad little friend don't have enough heart/faith (delete as appropriate) for the greater good.

Now your manky feline is going to be chasing and murdering all those poor mice and birds.

What sin did they commit? Or is the life of your cat worth more to God than those lower on the food chain?

Selective beliefs coming through again?

Why? Because my reposts are more rational, witty, accurate, well written, or better researched? Is it because your faith has been shown to be nothing more than an odious attempt at self flagellation and chest beating?

Remember god apparently gave us dominion over the beasts!

Your abusive replies are pathetic. Mine are at least thought out.

You are very wrong, I did not say my God came down to save my cat, I offered him my prayers which must have given me the courage and seek knowledge to challenge my Vet and my persistence paid, as a result of which another vet suggested that we could try steroids, which they hadn't tried earlier, so when she was put on steroids, she started to get better.

This particular cat did not commit any sins as far as I know, she rarely ventured out, none of my 10 cats have killed any birds, mice yes, and some frogs, and I have saved many of these creatures from their claws,

The life of my cat is not worth more to God, than say yours, but to me that cat is like my real child. Now imagine what I could do for a human child when i can sacrifice so much for an animal? Dan you haven't got any brains to comprehend my compassion for life of all creatures, including children!

Ahh I see the truth is coming out now. You actually went to another vet's for a second opinion. The vet saw an opportunity to relieve you of your hard earned cash. Your religious beliefs were played to the full. MFL. If the cat had died, the vet would have comforted you with the words "Ahh well, it must have been God's will". As it is the cat survived, so "Ahh it's a miracle, praise the Lord, and that will be £450 please.
If there is a God, then he'd have cured the cat for only your prayers (no money involved)
There;s none so gullible, as the gullible ehh. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Yet you can't be bothered to even pray for those in need.

How do you know that no birds have been killed? Christ. We've lost count of how much wildlife has succumbed to my step mum's last cat (the current pair, of which one remains) were average.

Felix, however. The most unlikely hunters...being both both black and white (in rural East Sussex), arthritic and minus a tail would bring multiple bunnies home each day. He would eat the lot, except for the spleen or stomach. Never both. Skin, fur and skeleton gone. He would offer them to one of the family present before eating the prize himself.

Now you are telling me that you have confined semi wild animal all its life in an unnatural environment; and it got ill? And you think human cancer is man man made?

Captive feline illness is obviously man made too by your definition.

*edit

Post delayed due to showering duties :D

good try, but unfortunately not quite, what happened, I would be all night trying to explain .

However, my cat is not fully recovered yet, she is not what she used to be, it is still early days, God may change his mind! then I will be devastated. But I think I will not lose my faith in him even if she does not make it through fully.

I will offer my prayers for anyone who is in need, they just have to be presence with me, I will do the rest, and offer my prayers for them.

I can't offer my prayers for people in remote locations! I am not that gifted! ;)

The second visit seen by a different Vet but at the same veterinary cost me £5.00 consultation fee and 28p for 28 steroid tablets!

and two vets discussed among themselves what might be the best course of action, I took my cat back there to have her Thyroxine levels checked, it is called a T4 test, but they both ruled it out on her age, and instead they agreed to try steroids that may kick start her kidneys!
