EU divorce bill agreed

Notch went blindly into the Quitter campaign, refusing to say which of the four possible options he hoped UK would end up with.

Because he wanted the imaginary fifth option of rainbows, unicorns, and all of the benefits with none of the costs.

He still won't say which available option he wants.

Oh Im honoured, JohnD's posted one of his images from his big hard drive collection.

I even get one of his favorite fallacious arguments too.

JohnD wants to stay in a neoliberal institution but his hero hates the EU. Poor chap is terribly confused.

Notch misses the point... again.
I suspect he has conveniently missed the point on purpose this time because the question is too difficult.

The majority of the population in Scotland and NI wanted to remain in EU.
Therefore TM (and the rest of the Brexiteers) are only representing the constituents of England and Wales!

Good init? Just select the votes of the ones that you want to represent and bu99er the rest!

Oh look, lets pick and choose.....

A bit of London, yup that can be part of EU, Brighton oh yes that should have its own referendum, Yorkshire, oh yes they should be out.

What was your point again?

What is the point of devolution?
The big decisions are firmly entrenched in London, irrespective of devolved government. They do not count!

Indeed so.

Notch can't say what sort of deal he wants with the EU, because none of the possible options is as good as being a member.

A dreadful admission for a Quitter to make, so he scurries away from the question.

I pointed it out before

There are two issues apart from the divorce settlement.

1)If we want single market access then that means we will have to accept the four freedoms of movement of people, good, service and capital - so NO IMMIGRATION CONTROL.
2) If we want to be part of the customs union then we cannot cut separate trade deals.

Lets say we leave the Single Market and Customs union - then we will have to trade on WTO which will be tariffs and quotas causing price shocks for importers and exporters - not good for business.
If we stay in the Single Market and leave the Customs Union then we will have to have new regulations to prove that origin of goods.
If we leave the Single Market but stay in the Customs Union then we will not be able to cut our own trade deals.
I forgot - all of this still doesnt not resolve the issue of the Irish Border.
