How true is this

It is generally accepted, by individual Catholics and by the Catholic Communion as a whole, that child abuse is a heinous crime and can no longer be tolerated among the priesthood

Sammy: "Are you saying that child abuse doesn't exist?"

JD back at it with the straw man arguments.

As neither of us can put our fingers on any proof to support our argument, we'll have to agree to disagree.
If I find anything to support my argument, I'll happily post it.
Likewise, if anyone else finds any proof to support (or indeed to counter) my argument feel free to post it.

Now why did you not do that in the first place instead of resorting to insults?

Germany as a nation and individually are horrified by the actions of the Nazis. But according to an Israeli press article, (quoting German Security forces) there are 126,000 neo-nazis in Germany.
Out of a population of 82.5 million.

Sammy fogging again with his nonsensical lack of logic.

LIAR

Traveller as in gypo you mean???. Or what,,time traveller maybe???

I travel in my car..I travel on my bike all over the world...That kind of traveller you mean??

fellow traveller"
Sorry,,,totally not a clue what you on about

Sorry,,still do not understand how that makes me a "traveller" in your head

Ok...i consider myself suitably offended by you calling me " a traveller"..presumably you mean it as an insult, along with most things you spout..Tip.....call me gyspy,,but even that is not that offensive!!..sorry to disappoint you.

That is exactly what BAS and lal think...Stop brexit to keep the IRA happy.

You keep showing pictures of Aftermath of IRA bombings, and suggest we arrange brexit so as not to upset the IRA.

He thinks we should scrap brexit to keep the IRA happy.

mistake, and they deserve the consequences of their mistake, if Brexit ever happens.
That sounds v v much like punishment...
How can it be a punishment?

Unless, of course, the consequences are punishing, then it would be.

Are you now claiming that the consequences of their mistake will be punishing? If not, please explain why you said it sounds like a punishment

No pretence there BAS
Absolutely there was.

You were pretending that you didn't know what "fellow traveller" meant, even though you were active in a thread where it was explained to you.

You kept on claiming that I had called you a "traveller", not a "fellow traveller", despite that claim being demonstrably untrue.

You keep on claiming that I think we should stop brexit to keep the IRA happy because I posted news report photos of bomb damage to highlight the irresponsible madness of other people who say that they would be prepared to see the peace process collapse if that was needed to deliver Brexit.

YOU ARE A VILE, LYING, SORRY EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING.

See above

There is no "above" where you explain how someone experiencing the consequences of a decision is being punished unless it is the consequences which are punishing.
You missed it.We will disagree on that too.

Maybe he meant in a spiritual sense. ;)

I will have to concede though, that Germany as a nation and individually does not mean 100%.
I never said it did. Durhamplumber and Sammy maintained that is what I implied.
Evidently, according to Sammy's link, my comment included 99.85% of Germans.

I guess, as the will of the people, that trumps the 52% that voted for Brexit and is cited as the "will of the people".
