Oh well - I didn't predict the right person, but the essence was correct.It is not reasonable to make some serious claim somebody is lying when anybody living in the real world can see he said it as a joke

How long before you or Ian try to claim that it was actually an award-winning joke?
And no matter how many times you disingenuously claim that something patently not funny really was, and that the fault lies with the person reading it and not seeing that it was funny, you can't change reality.
No amount of post-fact evasion will make what Vinty said funny. People could claim that it was every minute for the rest of their lives, and it would still never be true.
