support for the EU surges in Britain

^^^^
and guess what...the EU is currently negotiating a trade deal with Aust and NZ so the UK couldve benefited from a better deal than it might get anyway if ti stayed in the EU.

Aust and NZ have already said they will put the EU first.

it's interesting that Cameron mentioned the Empire - didn't use the word though. Common Wealth maybe / we have a relationship with them. Maybe a return to plenty of New Zealand butter and lamb on the shelves again. Maybe Canadian cheddar as well. Vaguely recollect he also mentioned looking to the East, That does make sense as it's where the "action" is. We appear to have already imported Australian politics. Not sure what else they have to offer.

the UK imports lots of New Zealand lamb.

Ironically most of UKs lamb is exported to the EU and a similar volume is imported from NZ

the UK likes shoulder and leg and especially around Easter time, the EU prefer less expensive cuts of lamb.

No doubt the UKs traditional dishes esp Sunday roast drive that

I only recollect seeing it in a pack in a freezer of late. Yonks ago I suspect it was thawed out and also stamped NZ. Not seen any like that for a long time.

Sadly that's what ignorant quitters fail to get...

An EHIC card merely allows any citizen of any EU/EEA country the same healthcare that is provided to a nation's own citizens.

The UK happens to have a 'free at the point of access' system, whereas some countries have for example a charge to see a GP.

All have to pay the same relative amount.

But again what ignorant quitters also fail to understand is that so called 'health tourism' is a tiny amount of the NHS budget, and most of it is from outside the EU/EEA area...

And this will increase given that whilst immigration from within the EU?EEA has decreased it has risen form outside the bloc...

Quitters continually shoot themselves in the foot.

Unfortunately it appears they are either too stupid to understand the mistake they have made or too arrogant to admit making that mistake!
Lal full of shít as usual...might,may,possibly...etc etc etc....nothing concrete yet..At worst...covered by Travel insurance anyway...

Aww bless...

Members of the 'gang' step up to show their ignorance...

But maybe they could redeem themselves and point out which private travel insurance companies give a cast iron guarantee that any health costs due to Covid will be covered, and treatment will be available under current EHIC conditions in all EU/EEA countries after the end of the year?

covered by Travel insurance
I'm sure they're not covering costs associated with Covid19. If you are thinking of cycling abroad, I'd look at taking out another mortgage if ever you end up in critical care in a foreign hospital, as a result of Covid19.

Thanks for the advice,Touched you care so much.X

It beginning to sound like the EU will agree it's 750b euro bail out deal. Seems that Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden are not too happy about raising it from the international market using the EU's triple A rating. The UK lost theirs in 2013 and downgraded again in 2017.

I think we ought to be encouraging DP to go cycling abroad. On the 'wrong' side of the road. (y)

But of course when his 'travel insurance' doesn't pay for his healthcare he'll be quite happy to be a burden on the NHS given he chose to abandon reciprocal healthcare agreements. (n)

Romans drove on the left, so I guess that was a European standard we adopted. Slightly safer to do so as well.
