What, like the EU PPE procurement scheme, who'd have thought that would involve the French hijacking our lorries.

The analogy is the Turkish PPE order that we placed that was late and junk. The French released our order fairly quickly, the Turkish stuff we ordered had to be destroyed.

Our procurement process has been pretty hit and miss throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. While not joining the EU scheme for vaccines might be the right call, I'm concerned that it won't even have been seriously considered because of the optics of it now we're leaving the EU.

Sorry to stick my nose in for a second, but in this day of readily available false information, I'd now say it's wise for anyone to do their own research to find out what is true or not...
