I'm often asked what's my problem with BLM

I read it from a newspaper the link for some reason take us to the BBC.... can't always trust the BBC
let me understand you correctly, you see a comment, and instead of reading, comprehending and responding to that comment, you read a media article about something entirely different, and you comment on that media article, by quoting any comment that happens to be convenient, even if they are not remotely connected?

So when you were falsely told that we couldnt deport or bar EU citizens with a criminal record, did you bother to find out if it was true, or did you just assume it must be?

If the latter, that really is the literal definition of "prejudice".
It's worse than that, Bodd reads an article in the media, then twists it to his narrative, claiming it said what it didn't. That's not prejudice, that's out and out deviousness.

It looks like the 6500 deaths quoted are for deaths of migrant workers in all lines of work over the last decade, less quoted for building the actual stadiums. Still pretty p!ss poor safety record. Would drizzlepants/himmy notch or captain numbskull/BAS accept those figures in this country ?

You ought to learn to read the comments before making a total fool of yourself.
Although in your case it probably wouldn't have any effect.
Please don't misinterpret my comments.
I do care about workers conditions throughout the world, and H&S issues.
But misrepresenting data undermines the principle of fair, just and equitable reporting.

I'm against the gesture knee bending... it's done nothing......
Its provoked a large group of racists to confirm publicly that they are racists...

And its exposed those who claim not to be racists whilst cheering on racist behaviour of others.

But anyway - you're against that gesture, but very much in favour of the gesture of calling for the England football team to boycott the next World Cup.

Fair enough.

6500 have died building stadiums for their glorification........ you just don't get it do you.....
I get it a great deal more than you get the fact that you have expressed approval of abuse, motivated by racist beliefs, of people protesting about racism.

What I dont get though is why its mutually exclusive in your eyes. Why does agreeing with the showing of support for the BLM movement, or for the highlighting/protesting of racism in sport, or society in general, mean that someone is not, and cannot be, concerned about the deaths of migrant workers in Qatar?

Since the workers in question are a foreign underclass in Qatar, with fewer rights and protections because of that, the way theyre being treated is a racism/social justice issue - I must admit I didnt think you were worried about those, so its good to see that you are.

Clarifying and exposing obvious disingenuous reporting has nothing to do with, and is not synonymous with appeasement.
It might be in your world, but in your world you promote genocide.

I'm with you once they Boycot Qatar... then the knee bending means something...

Your a caring man so I expect you support on this....

Put your vote in

Make a gesture of support for a boycott by voting in your poll, you mean?

Your trying cure racist ... not to create new ones.....
Surely that doesnt mean you think that people who had never been racists could be turned into ones by the sight of sportsmen going down on one knee?

One facet of racism/racial injustice being the way that Qatar regards foreigners as expendable.

Quatars record on humans rights and womans rights is exemplary :sneaky:

they are a credit to the world :sneaky:

Quatars treatment of foreigners cannot be critcised :sneaky:

and tbh your slur on the country is a disgrace , you have no proof of your accusations ;) so stop making **** up
