Car break-ins

more likely not.

For every thousand thefts from cars, how many successful prosecutions are there? How often do the police do more than issue a crime number for the insurance, and NFA?

When the Conservative Government cut police numbers by 20,000, did that help?

How many rapists are imprisoned per thousand rapes?

My local rag regularly has news articles of local criminals being prosecuted for such things as car theft, burglary etc. When convicted, the court reads out their previous offence record which is often a long list of previous convictions!! Very rarely does it report a 'first offence'. Most are career criminals who scoff at the petty penalties they suffer when caught.

John is a lefty. The probation services are run by lefties (basically social workers). Criminal justice appears to be run by lefties for the last few decades. They don't understand crime and punishment. Hence the mess we're in today, with eg. London murder rates being compared to NYC.

I had my spark plug cap removed for me once (on a motorbike) and I had a reliant robin that kept getting broken into, finally they broke in and stole the alarm that I had fitted. :)
It ended up better to just leave it unlocked with no HT/DIS cap.

AIUI Because it's insured the police are very dis interested in car theft these days.

In Texas if you hear some one messing about with yer car u can open your window and shoot em

car recovery people for bad finance payments need to tread a careful path

Texas law

Don't forget yours also had the special security of a non-working gearbox!

Andy

I'd spent a month grafting another one on by that point, they must have thought it still had original one fitted and walked on by..

Can you see what implications this might have? Weigh it up and have a good think andy.

Yes, safety and security. Children playing in the streets. The end of no-go areas. No more graffiti. No more cannabis smell.

The horrendous amount of crime we are currently suffering is a direct result of the ever increasing leniency of our justice system. Current methods of policing do not work - you could cut another 20,000 or add another 20,000 and it would make no difference. Police, court and prison methods need to change completely.

Free drugs is the answer to crime. Let the clowns get off their t*ts all day on smack if they want - provided by the state. Crime will reduce dramatically overnight.

Illegal drugs are illegal for good reasons.

Perhaps ? The UK need to seek specific advice from the taliban about dealing with repeated theft
:idea::?::?:

We don't need any silly foreign ideas, our own system of the rule of law is adequate. If only it were applied properly.
