Firstly, where did that rumour come from? The US, presumably since it isn't a plan for the UK.

Secondly the answer is the unvaccinated, who would presumably be allowed in until the hospitals are overwhelmed, but then excluded from that point on.

Just sticking stupidity onto an image of Columbo doesn't magically make it less stupid.

I'm not sure anyone died of allergic reactions, they realised they could happen quite early and they're easy to treat.

There are some rare adverse reactions for each of the vaccines we use in the UK, but they're very rare, only a few in a million.

It is our governments and authorities that are corrupt and dishonest; our people are mostly decent.

that’s because it’s a right wing government.

You believe in free markets, well that leads to corruption.

so you now know more than the president of the drug company that makes it
I know better than to take a clip out of context.

Im really bored of this conspiracist hogwash you lot post…..can you please please just go away and grow up.

Yes, there are side effects. I had my booster last Monday. It left me with a sore arm for four days, a couple of days of feeling lethargic and a few nights of really bad sleep (partly because every time I rolled over onto that arm it woke me up)

I think I prefer that to the prospect of being in hospital and possibly dying. The chances of dying from Covid if unvaccinated are supposed to be in the region of 1 in 100 (according to this paper published last year), or 2 to 3 times the mortality rate for winter influenza. To date I haven't seen any figures published as to what percentage of people who acquire Covid and are hospitalised and are subsequently diagnosed as having "long Covid", but that's something else I'd like to avoid

As to blood clots, Astra-Zenca is supposed to cause less than 4 in 100,000 chance of getting a blood clot (source: Australian Govt paper) which is somewhat less that the figure quoted as "normal" in the whole of the population (I believe about 4 to 6
in 100,000 - but I may be wrong on that), and in any case research seems to show that acquiring Covid increases your risk of a blood clot much more than being vaccinated (source: Oxford University)

As blood clotting can also occur with other vaccinations it seems to me blood clotting isn't a logical reason for being opposed to the Covid vaccination. But maybe the anti-vaxxers know better. Or maybe they are just all out for a Darwin Award

If nobody has ever told you you are full of ****e, I'd be very surprised. An ex-colleague died last year. He was 37, a rugby player and on the surface very fit and healthy. Two of my wife's former colleagues have been in ITU with Covid. We are both nearer to 70 than 50, so you don't have to be a genius to work out which way the odds are stacked and why I think anti-vaxxers are morons. Unless you are an anti-vaxxer, that is

nearer 70 . Then are the odds not stacked massively in your favour you have had 3 doses of vaccine in less than a year with the 4th one already bought and implementation planned what are you worried about or do you not actually believe the vaccine will protect you
