Gaffer: hey mate bit of a favour to ask of you.

Me: ask away boss. I will do anything for you as you know.

Gaffer: what’s the chances of a bulk change today of 10 lights?

Me: big drinking day today boss so it’s a push as I need to be in the pub by 12.30 or I will have to get a round in. Is it job and knock boss??

Gaffer: it can be mate

Me: consider it done boss.

Gaffer: you are amazing mate. Your mother must be proud of you.

Me: your my mother now boss.

Gaffer: I dam well love you mate.

Guess what time I finished the 10 lights??

I bet you could single handedly get the entire Blackpool illuminations erected in a day, maybe even by lunchtime with an early start?
