Todays Job

That was 70mm, really tight struggled to get the lid on....
yep, usually just prizes the shell apart so a tip is to tywrap the shell together as soon as you get it in position. Did you get it allover your hands after pouring, I never fail to have black hands.

Ive got a few black finger tips at the moment
takes ages to come off, virtually need to take off your skin to remove it. I once did 6 pours in the day and the next day I was the best man at a mates wedding. I could see everyone looking at my hands when doing the speech.

OMG first time you've ever said I've done a good job

Ive done about 20 over 25 years probably
Yeah I thought so, I hadnt done that many before I went on highways and they are our bread and butter. Not a fan of them but credit where credit is due. 70mm is a tough call.

Another tip I learnt is with the earth strap on the SWA, dont bother with the clips, strap it tight with tape and after the pour and it has set, you get as good a reading as faffing about with the clips and it doesnt / cannot come off.

The clips were the worst part I was gonna give up at one point.....the last one I did had compression spring things much better.

You could probably repair your roof tile with some joint resin?
