Thanks to @Brigadier I did discover the EPICA Antarctic ice cores which show almost the opposite temperature jumps, alongside the same millennium long temperature trends thanks to orbital mechanics

Its almost as if you can't base your view of an entire planets temperature on a single location! And that gradual changes to global temperature can make catestrophic changes to local climate.

Its also worth pointing out that I believe 100% that the climate is changing. And I am leaving it at that for today because everything that you have just suddenly been learning has all been dealt with before in this thread.
