The above word is actually plural for panino. If one would like a ciabatta bread with filling of choice, and grilled, one should ask for a panino. Learn something new every day.

Also the word lasagne (which people here pronounce lasagna) is plural.
Lasagne is the plural plural of lasagna.
Spaghetti is the plural of spaghetto.
And a Stivino is a little Steve. :D

I thought panini's were what stopped your father falling over?

I always thought they were stickers....

Got, Got, Got, Need, Got Got, Need, Got, Need, Need, Got

I know.

It was a joke.

Perhaps you did not recognise the lack of exclamation marks & smileys was an attempt to indicate dry humour.

I think the day I ask for a Panino will be the day I ask for just one Scampo.

Personally, I thought you were using the dry humour smiley - the one that I generally put after every sentence.

Here's a clickable one:

I was joking too, that's why I didn't use any exclamation marks or smiley's either.
Oh, nearly forgot, scampi really is the plural of scampo. But when you ask for scampi you want more than one. If you ask for a panini (more than one), it's really a panino (only one) that you want.
Avete capito?

I didnt use smileys OR exclamation marks but then again I wasn't joking
