I had a shower this morning and then grabbed the towel and proceeded to dry myself whilst still under the shower and it still running, what a plonker! I forgot to turn off the shower!! I've done stupid little everyday things like that before, how's about you? what daft things have you done?

Hmmm, fell over last night, got hospitalised, yes.... well played. Trouble is I have no time for people who go out get tanked up and fall over. It was put down generously to dehydration. I am ashamed and would dearly like to pay for the emergency services time (who were absolutely wonderful). Not proud.

i had a small job in milton keynes last week, so got up early, took me with traffic and stupid roadworks at the m1 j 14 about 2 hours, got there had to wait almost an hour for idiot who forgot i was there on tuesday, was annoyed and let them know it, then realised, i had to buy the tiles day before......

I have been looking for my mobile phone, while I am talking on it

My mother in law rang the father in law's mobile from the home phone, not realising that he hadn't taken it and that it was on the desk next to her. It rang - obviously - so she picked it up and, without waiting for a voice on the other end, said "Please wait I'm busy at the moment on the other line". Then she went back to listening on the other line, wondered why she couldn't hear it ringing, so cut it off, redialled, answered it and said "Please wait I'm busy at the moment on the other line".

The penny dropped at that point (or so she says).

The really worrying thing is that she was totally on her own and could have just kept quiet about what she'd done. But no....

This got me a few times...wondering where my glasses were...sudden hand to face motion omg they are falling off!..then remembering I had just switched to contact lenses.

My mate got home from the pub and spent a painful half hour trying to remove his contact lenses, before remembering that he wasn't wearing them that day. He was tugging at his eyeballs

I've done the old 'looking for my sunglasses that I'm already wearing on my head' trick.

I've put two pairs on when I've been in the car.

I've washed my face quite a few times ..... forgetting to take my glasses off ..... and even looking in the mirror while doing so too

And I just hate it when someone phones me up while I am doing the ironing  lol
