The BBC needs to explain its way out of this one.

Now which 'group in society' could you be referring to I wonder?

I guess you've just shown us your own ignorant prejudice (y)
Who have I shown prejudice towards ?

Mine was a simple question, add another group within society in place of Jo Brands target and then imagine how the beeb would have reacted. The beeb in this instant have clearly shown a high level of bias towards a very popular politician who's views do not match BBC thinking.

Morrissey told us we should hang a DJ and Freddy Murcury confessed to killing a man, (and even his mother knew). Are they next on inciting violence/murder/we should all be offended about list?

No, they didn't. But that Sun story starts with "BREXIT Party leader Nigel Farage has claimed he would have faced police action if he'd joked about throwing acid at political opponents as the backlash over Jo Brand's comments on a BBC radio show grow."

But he did joke about violence (shooting) against political opponents, so is sounding like a right hypocrite.

He likes to give it, but can't take it.

"Can you imagine the reaction if I had said the same thing as Jo Brand?" - You already did, and somehow managed to get away with it!

Have you seen Brexiteers throwing anything over anybody ? No it's just the Looney left wingers.

Freddie Mercury was referring to coming out as a homosexual ! The killing was of his pretense or rather his acceptance he was gay and not a straight man.
He was talking about himself.

I think you've missed my point!

Being British through out history we have had a sick sense of honour, we take the the P!ss out of anything that's moves, be it black spotty ginger fat skinny diffrent dead, ourselves.

We take the P!ss.
The left however with the BBC playing god have knocked this out of us.
It's the Hypocrisy of the bbc that bugs my bear.

Hypocrisy or fair game

Thomas Alexander Mair threw blades and bullets at Jo Cox

John Murphy (Brexit supporter) attacked Jeremy when he came to visit the mosque earlier this month, by throwing an egg

Farage suggested rioting in the streets and shooting people was the solution to the stalemate. There's a video easy to find online.

Same say Jo Cox with shot - https://twitter.com/DrGabsEvans/status/744121454665601025
"I'm beyond stunned, the same day MP Cox was shot, few hours earlier I got punched for a remain button."

Violence on both sides.

Anyway, a comedian made a joke, has apologised for the joke, and the BBC has edited the joke out. But don't let that stop you from banging on about how violent pro-EU people are.

Vulgar I think you are saying?

Nope, not really. She made a joke about what lots of people already said about the milkshakes, it was said on here, this forum often enough in the past "ooh, it could lead to acid instead of milkshake" etc..

Context is everything. She's a comedienne, it was said in jest on a comedy show. End of. People really are knobs these days about what they get outraged about. There's so much crud going on in this country, so many things wrong and there's more energy spent these days getting angry about the unimportant things.
