Labour is really 2 parties, which means it suffers constant in fighting: divided parties don't win elections.

I would also say the socialist left are too idealistic, not realistic. This country has the worlds biggest financial centre and 50% of the land is owned by 1%.......there's no chance of them allowing a socialist government in.

Starmer must push for electoral reform in the next election because ending FPTP is the only way this country will achieve anything approaching a government which actually represents the people.
Don't know about that.
When the bill comes in for the pandemic a lot people are going to get thrown under Boris's big red bus.
Who do you reckon is going to be first.
Pensioners maybe,

Blah blah blah... still crying when a vote doesn’t go your way.. I bet you still remind siblings about how unfair the Christmas presents were in 1976.
Stop constantly whining like a little beech.

Whatever. As long as it’s not labour in power, find someone who’s cares coz if it gives you the hump, it’s all good in my eyes. You big baby.

Foreigners hopefully
I've come to the conclusion that Dangee has a little stock of silly comments.
He just picks one or two at random to throw into a debate.
None of them have much relevance to the debate. They're just troll-like comments designed to alienate other posters.

There were an estimated 38,000 deaths in care home from Covid.

If it costs an average of £700 per week to keep a resident in a care home, that's about £26,000,000 saved each week. (700 X 38,000)
Or about £1.3 Billion per year.

Of course, not all costs are running costs, but the fixed costs are not paid by government?

Naa. Labour neglected them for years. Conservatives will look after them

The Tories have been in power you div, Labour doesn't set the budget or agenda of the country. They have been neglected due to Tory policies.

Nope never pensioners that his voting bloc. The young have been thrown under the bus and as the young tend to move towards urban areas where Labour is strong, piling up votes in areas where you win easily is pointless. Tories rule the shires and rural areas.

With voting ID required and boundary changes I suspect Tories to stay in power for another decade and their voters still blaming someone else for their failures. The greatest trick the tories played is convinced their voters they were never in power.

Well, according to you I’m racist against white people. So all White people.
You obviously don’t spend a lot of time in the North East G. Traditional labour. Labour have completely taken them for granted. Div.
And don’t blame the Mail. I don’t think it’s got the largest of circulation figures up there.

The North East which lost its mining towns and saw no investment for decades - going back to the 80s in the 40 years of Government the Tories have been in power for 27.

So you blame the people not in power for the faults of the people in power. The Tories really are good at this trick.

So the Media runs politics and the Media is pro Tory as it protects its billionaire owners interests.

They play the fake culture war so well that you don't even know what is important anymore.

Where did I lay blame at anyone’s door step?
I didn’t “blame” anyone. I’m telling you the general feel in a lot of North Eastern areas.
Can you not debate without twisting peoples words or insulting people?

G. Wasn’t you one of the people complaining about the Government providing subsidies to Nissan as a incentive to stay in the UK?
