It isnt, there's a lot of detail in the answer that can cause confusion if you don't know or trust all of it.
The short version is: Since around 1800 we have fairly good temperature records covering a decent fraction of the world and measured at a reasonable level of accuracy. It improved over time but 1800 is where it started to be good quality.
Before that we have lower quality measures but good enough for an approximation. When you get to geological time frame we do have enough data to say that the climate is changing faster than ever before, with the exceptions of super volcanos and meteorites.

Just like UNCLOS and UNHCR, a person in distress is a person in distress.
There's a myriad of reasons for being in distress.
But we don't decide on this forum who is and who isn't. The government have a process to determine that, or it's supposed to have.
So could the Roman Catholic church provide evidence that Jesus gave them the Franchise for Christianity.
