And who in their right mind could argue against it?

"During my lifetime most of the problems the world has faced have come, in one fashion or another, from mainland Europe and the solution from outside it."

Did you realise that she was one of the architects of the 1987 Single European Act which led to the single market and the single currency.

Yup she was the person that led to common market becoming the European Union.

Later on of course her famous Bruge speech was contoversial and said to be the seed of Brexit.

Filly takes that quote literally, but doesnt realise the intent behind it was to stop division by working together and an outcome of this was the Single Market. Later on Thatcher cooled to the EU because of greater political integration but she was fully on board with its economic aims.

Why do so many RWR fall for this time and time again.

Its original "common mkt " aims seemed sensible....Morphed out of all recognition now.Why did Maggie not pop over to Germany and finish its coal mining industry?

Think you might be getting her mixed up with Jacques Delors. Easy mistake.

Oh dear, Fillyboy is a fan of MT, but hasnt a clue about her key role in the creation of the single market.

Well done on your attempt at being patronising. I must congratulate you :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That's because all they have is Diane Abacus to compare her to.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money...

Daft old bint was always anti-Europe in any case.

Knowing we have a total nutter in charge in North Korea, a fat orange racist idiot in charge of the US, a ruthless rampant power hungry Chinese government, a manipulative murdering tyrant in charge of Russia and a clown for PM in the UK I'd say Thatcher's opinions belong in the grave with her and gullible relics like filly, need to move on.

Given numbers 1, 3 and 4 in your quote, I'd have thought number 2 was exactly what was needed. Anyway, what a difference a week makes, last week China were the model of democracy and fair trade, nothing like an impending massacre to put things into perspective eh?
