Hi All,
Kindly asking for some help.

Moved into a new build property that has an Ariston boiler and separate water tank with 2 zones (upstairs and downstairs).

Each Zone has its own Thermostat - Danfoss TPOne with only a brown (COM) and a black (NO) wire.
The TPOne is battery operated and acts as a Thermostat and Programmer hence there is no standalone programmer near the boiler.

Looking at upgrading to a Hive thermostat.

The wiring in the TPOne is just 2 wires Brown and Black. How do I install Hive receiver which requires L, N, Earth plus switch Live?
Also behind the TPOne 2 wires are not attached to anything. Grey and Earth.

Below is a picture of the wiring centre that is next to the boiler.

Thanks in advance

You need to work out whether those grey wires are neutral, if so, then you could utilise those either there or at the the TPone. Looks like there's a spare brown in the Wago - if it's permanent live then you can use that, it again at the TPone. Depends on where you want Hive receivers

Looking to have the Hive receivers next to the wiring centre and then if the wires going to the Danfoss thermostats is redundant removing them

Ok, so you do still need to ascertain if those greys are neutral and if they are all used - if they are you need to add an additional wago.

You need to work out which is permanent live - some greys are but could also be the brown. Then you just need to alter the switch wires.

Perfect thanks, in relation to the hot water is there anything that needs to be considered? It also has its own Danfoss module

If it's unvented then you may not be able to work on it, so I was told. You'd have to alter wiring for that too.
