You are very much mistaken, why do you like a drink if you don't like to get drunk? I leave work on a Friday dinner and aprox 30 or so of us hit the pub and do shots and beer or Vodka red bulls to get drunk as quickly as possible, are you seriously suggesting that we are all alcoholics ?

You are correct. Binge drinking is very different to being an alcoholic.

If I see people using a boozer during the daytime and are using that boozer to regularly/habitually get drunk every week and enjoy being drunk - then yes, I'd say the members of the club you are in, have issues.

Magic mushrooms are good if that’s your sort of thing. They aren’t for everyone. Weed is as damaging as alcohol use imho, weed smokers can’t see it though.

A binge drinker won’t wake up on Monday morning and have a can of Stella in bed. A weed smoker will probably have a joint before they go downstairs.

We all work hard doing a tough job and working all hours god sends in order to feed our families and ensure a good standard of living. Our escape is a few hours down the pub enjoying ourselves and the land lord of the pub loves us for it. `We spend a lot of money and socialise with everyone in the pub.

He said on a Friday. Half the uk have a few beers after work ends. Many of us used it take e’s and whizz twice a week.

So do I, so do many, many people. I used to get drunk Friday and Saturday, back to work on Monday.

Yes I do or I wouldn't drink, I don't touch a drop throughout the week I enjoy being drunk as I end up dancing and singing and having a good laugh with my mates, not a violent person and still respect others even though I might be fully intoxicated. The pub we use has a family area and we all respect that they may not like a gang of men drinking and being loud, we go outside whilst people get used to us
