Holy Smoke

In what way do you need "protecting" from people who smoke cannabis?
Research has strongly indicated that consuming cannabis does elicit negative personality changes in people, such as making them more suspicious (paranoid), fearful, angry and aggressive.

A state of paranoia has been consistently associated with violent and aggressive behaviour. (4,5,6)

  • Heart: High blood pressure, cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart), irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia), stroke.
  • Brain & Nervous System: Damage, memory problems, dementia, numbness, tingling, nerve pain, coordination issues.
  • Pancreas: Inflammation (pancreatitis), increased cancer risk.
  • Digestive System: Gastritis, ulcers, vitamin deficiencies, diarrhea.
  • Immune System: Weakened, making you prone to infections.
  • Bones: Weakened, increasing fracture risk.
  • Cancer Risk: Increased risk for mouth, throat, breast, liver, and bowel cancers.

  • Mental Health: Worsening depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide risk.

Heavy alcohol consumption can make you paranoid by disrupt the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and dopamine, which play a role in regulating mood and perception. This imbalance can contribute to heightened anxiety, irrational fears, and a distorted sense of reality, contributing to feelings of paranoia.

Acute intoxication can impair cognitive functions, making it difficult to accurately interpret social cues or situations. This can lead to misinterpretations of others’ intentions, fuelling paranoid feelings and false beliefs.

oops, silly me, I typed in the word 'alcohol' by mistake.

An alcoholic is a different ball game to those who drink for pleasure and social drinking.

There's far more violence associated with alcohol than cannabis

In that case, why shouldn't the UK ban advertising alcohol in case we turn into a nation of alcoholics?
Drinking and driving is far more dangerous.
Why would you ban the advertising? It is a legal thing to do when you reach 18.

Of course it is, nothing wrong with enjoying a good drinking session with friends.

Yeah - you're right.

Nobody minds the people fighting.

Nobody minds the people pssng in shop doorways and on public transport.

Nobody minds the people throwing up on the streets, on public transport, in the backs of cabs, in their houses.

Nobody minds drunken antics which result in property damage.

And medical professionals especially don't mind their time and resources having to be spent on people who've injured themselves when drunk, or who have drunk themselves into unconsciousness.

I can''t begin to think why I ever said that getting drunk is not 100% socially acceptable.

By alcoholic, you mean the ones that say the enjoy getting drunk and talk about consuming large amounts of vodka etc?
No an alcoholic is someone that wakes up and needs a drink and then continues through the day and night. You are not very knowledgable by not knowing the difference.

link to that or is that your silly ill informed opinion, a bit like you see thugs everywhere.
If you seriously believe that you can big up alcohol over recreational drugs, you are on a hiding to nothing, boyo.

I condone nor condemn either. Both are socially acceptable. Both are socially damaging. Both have their uses.

I don't big it up, I believe drinking is a great thing to do if you enjoy it and are not harming anyone.

Is the pakki (stani) shops in the UK selling those synthetic cannabis vapes

They're highly addictive and a scourge on the youth
