Hot enough for ya?

Is that at Center Parcs? We stayed in a 4 bed one with a hot tub outside and a sauna room about 10 years ago. There was a sign that said 'No food or drink in the hot tub' but after a few beers all of us blokes had glasses of wine in there with us and were floating big bowls of crisps and snacks to each other. Sorry!

mayonnaise?

Dirty buggers...why did you not have a shave and do your washing whilst in there too!

You know it's hot when you get into your car that's not been driven for over 2 hours, and the temp gauge needle is still not fully down to the cold position. Happened to me today.

Comparatively cooler tonight. A chilly 26° in my lounge. If this keeps up, the fan might get a rest later!

After hearing about the rest of the South flooding today, M25/M23 being closed, neighbouring towns being flooded too and missing the lot, we've finally got rain! Just got caught out in a thunderstorm while out with the cat, finally feel cool :-)

And the same afternoon the smoke alarm on landing decided to go off for no reason. One and only time it's done it and it happend at the hottest time. Battery is fine - put it back in and it's been ok since. Can only think it was a combination of the high heat and humidity that it didn't like.
