Is anti-Semitism a form of racism?

I will identify racists as racist. As should we all.
That doesn't include everyone by any stretch of the imagination.
It does include those who try to prevent the identifying of racism, especially those who cannot identify it themselves.

As you can't or won't provide your interpretation of what you consider racism to be, you are in no position to criticise who or what is racist.
By deduction, you cannot complain about those who do identify racism.

As BAS said in a previous thread, you want to determine what isn't racism, (pretty much everything as I see it) but you won't or can't provide your interpretation of what you think is racism.
See? He just wants another racist thread. The blokes obsessed, I think there's something really wrong with him.

Perhaps you might consider people are tired of your continuous crap and aren't willing to engage.
BINGO!!!!! :)

Why do you always get hold of the wrong end of the stick.
You really are like Donald Trump. You spout whatever accusations you like because of a fundament inability to understand what people are saying.

My thread was about the definition of "anti-semitism" and agreed with the author of this article.

You say it is racism - presumably you are using your all-encompassing definition of racism which can apply to everything - therefore it must be racism.
Obviously anti-semitism can be racist if perpetrating racist acts.

The point about the use of "anti-semitism" today is that it has been hi-jacked to be the sole preserve of Jews and any criticism of Jews, Israel or Zionism is greeted with cries of anti-semitism which that criticism might not be. This cannot be correct because not all Jews are semitic and not all semites are Jewish or Israeli.

Support for Palestinians is demonised as anti-semitic - yet many Palestinians are semitic.

It's not easy to think of an equivalent but it is like any criticism of Plaid Cymru is anti-celtic disregarding the fact that many other peoples are Celtic.

Plus, of course, any criticism cannot be racist (whatever the definition) if that criticism is true.
Why bother? Himmy's never been able to think outside of his very limited mindset.

Is anti-Semitism racism? Simple question without confusing it with anti-Zionism etc.

You denied it was when I said you had posted a thread about racism. You said I was wrong because your thread was about Anti-Semitism.
Anti-Semitism is racism because it is perpetrating racist acts.

I have posted my definition of racism. It is the same as the one in the dictionary.
You will not post your definition because it suggests you believe in racialism.

Diversion.

If we adopt the socially constructed concept of racism, it relates to ethnicities, nationalities, cultures etc, therefore Palestinians can be anti-Semitic/racist to Jews.

If you insist that racism can only be perpetrated between races, you insist on the belief that the human race is divided into separate races.

True - but it is difficult when he keeps writing untruths which might give others the wrong idea.
You've done it now EFL!! :ROFLMAO:
He's getting all excited..

I think it's fair to say, no matter what you write on here, he will not listen!

As I said, he just wants to get off on calling people racist.

I can't reply to his last post, as is always the case, it would take hugely longer explaining all his errors than the few relevant points.

He is just writing nonsense.
Life really is too short to try and reason with the unreasonable :)

You could reply, you could just post your version of what racism is to you.
Or Sodthisforfun could post it.

But you won't, neither of you, because to do so would either identify you as racialists, or accepting the socially constructed definition of racism.

Neither seems to suit your purpose any more.

Therefore you are now both devoid of a working definition of racism.

Yet you still want everyone to stop using the word.

God, you're thick.
