Khant argue with that

Taking a polluting vehicle into London is a choice for many.
Then smoking in a public place would be a choice too. Oh, I forgot, it’d be hard for khan to earn from that as we don’t go round with an identifying mark stamped on us, do we?

Why. Not. Just. Ban. It. If. It’s. Dangerous? Answer the question.

I know why. Khan knows why. Do you?

Coz vehicles are still essential.
Smoking : not so much (y)

Give it time, and ICE cars will (effectively) be banned.

It's already got the proportion of non compliant vehicles down to below 4%. The political cost to ban those 4% of vehicles will give far less benefit than if the energy is spent on, for example, better bus networks.

But of course you don't actually believe they should be banned, you're just crying hypocrisy and flinging red herrings around with gleeful abandon.

`As far as I am concerned, nobody should be driving into the city centre in London, it should be commuting only by train or bus which would solve a lot of issues.

Yes. Commercial vehicles still need to enter the city to deliver goods. It's not a secret.

And there are still folk out there that choose to ride around London in antiquated polluting death traps, for what ever reason, when it's probably cheaper to get a used conpliant vehicle or use the public transport.
