motorcyclists and speed limits

And you wonder why bikers think most car drivers are complete tw*ts...

'cause most bikers are .... car drivers too !!
:D :D

yes most motorcyclists have passed the rudimentary MOT cage test.
lets face it as a minimum standard its pretty dammed low.

anyone having taken a recent motorcycle test would know

despite the know nothing arrogant apologist for a brain cell, the keyboard warrior who's white haired granny would have no difficulty passing the tests nonsense

the test is extremely hard to pass and the elevated level of road awareness is awesome, and for the missus very very hard but she did it :)
cage drivers cant help its because of their low level of expectation and evolution in life...
motorcyclists have to compensate for them just to stay alive
drivers who are motorcyclists have a natural enhanced sense of peripheral awareness ;)

How come motorcyclists are exempt from obeying the speed limits on roads ? one of these ****s was recently clocked going through the village where I live at 105....the limit in our village is 30....what an utter to55er as in my opinion most motorcyclists are.

is this an appropiate solution to your motorcycling friend?

bikes are the future

may i polietly ask how on earth id get all 5 of my kids on a bike?
indeed you may
and to answer your question, i'm sure you don't take your 5 kids to work or shopping surely you must go to some places on your own, in which case take a bike and do your bit for the enviroment and congestion and more importantly ENJOY yourself at the same time

whacked it up to a ton on friday evening, felt a little unsteady strong cross wind,

edged it off,no one around on an empty road.

just wanted to know what the k&n felt like as it hadnt been tested

have you had it dyno jetted as well ? or power commander fitted?

Stick a double bubble screen on, that should knock the wind out of the way - then you can get to 170 before it starts getting a bit hairy :)

got a tinted double bubble on it

doesn't get hairy for me, the speed just seems the same over the ton mark, maybe its the revs and wind noise around the helmet
the only time you can really tell your going fast is if you approach other vehicles and the closing speed

I get less sensation of speed on the bike than I do in the car - I often look down and see 120+ on the speedo, but would swear I'm only doing 90 or so.

Closing speed is a great bum-clencher, isn't it...!
