An interesting point. Arabs and Jews were on an equal footing in, let's call it the Holy Land, both were offered the same deal by the UN. The Jews accepted that deal, the Arabs didn't. The Jews went on to flourish turning desert into fertile farmland, becoming world leaders in irrigation methods. They built factories and created jobs going on to become the most advanced country in the middle east.
The arabs in the meantime chose self imposed refugee status, incapable of developing their own infrastructure, agriculture or or any form of self support.
Despite billions flowing into their coffers they chose to use that money to build rockets rather than develop any meaningful self sufficiency, the fact that prior to Oct 7th 500 trucks of food entered Gaza every single day should be a source of shame to them. Where did all the money go?
Hundreds of billions will be spent by other countries re-building Gaza, and hundreds of millions will continue to flow into Gaza to feed them while they plot their next invasion.
Meanwhile the number of 'Palestinian' refugees continues to grow, from about 750,000 in 1948 to over 5 million today. That number will continue to grow because unlike any of the other refugees worldwide, the 1951 Refugee Convention doesn't apply to Palestinians, also unlike any other global refugees, refugee status is passed down through the generations even if they were born in Jordan, Egypt or England.
These Palestinian refugees are administered by UNWRA, they make no attemp to re-settle them, they only seek to maintain their refugee status.
