Come home today to my new drive. Very happy that my front garden now is up to date. The whole front now screams. Young professional and well to do.

That's a great idea, I was wondering what to do with that area. I was going to plant some trees to fill it out a bit but pebbles is a very modern approach. The garden bit looks a bit rubbish with all that black plastic sheeting. Have you thought of putting some pebbles down instead?
Make it wider using the left over blocks, whilst renewing those God awful edgings, at the same time. I can't believe they left them in.Come home today to my new drive. Very happy that my front garden now is up to date. The whole front now screams. Young professional and well to do.

It isn't finished yet. Those front raised kerbs are being replaced with bull nose edgingsMake it wider using the left over blocks, whilst renewing those God awful edgings, at the same time. I can't believe they left them in.
As for that raised kerb edging at the end of the garden - WTF?

He has left the god awful edgings in because we are extending it into the grassed areas where new edgings will be put in. Silly to put new edgings in and rip them out again don't you think?Make it wider using the left over blocks, whilst renewing those God awful edgings, at the same time. Please don't say that you ate the whole pack of digestive biscuits. This isn’t just any old packing up. This is grown ups packing up.View attachment 381628
Just the sequencing. The edgings will disrupt the paving, when they are ripped out. Silly to put new paving in, then rip out the edgings.Anything else your not happy with?

I will take the update pics tomorrow, but he is saying he will run into sat morning. See if it gets your seal of approval thenJust the sequencing. The edgings will disrupt the paving, when they are ripped out. Silly to put new paving in, then rip out the edgings.

I said the same to the wife. we are 3k in and its getting worse.
Are they SUDS blocks ie self draining? Otherwise you might need planning permission if the drive drains onto the footwayCome home today to my new drive. Very happy that my front garden now is up to date. The whole front now screams. Young professional and well to do.
