That’s slightly overdone 'white toast'. When I have an egg sandwich, I have it even whiter - just literally warm and dry the surface of the bread without any change of colour. Try it, you'll be surprised.Have you been cut off, Mottie?

Had not-done toast before; each to their own, but not to my taste.
Christmas Crunch with a couple of tomatoes. Gotta use them up somehow.
