What are you having for breakfast?

I had smoked haddock poached in milk and poached eggs this morning. The haddock was skin on and boneless. I bought it in Iceland. They do three items for a tenner - mix and match. I bought one of frozen haddock, one of frozen king prawns and a four-tin pack of tuna. The haddock was nice - four pieces per pack and you can get two breakfast sized portions out of a pack. I saw it advertised somewhere so I thought I’d give it a try - I haven’t been to Iceland for years - not bad in there. Just been up and bought another three mix and match packs for a tenner - 1 smoked haddock, 1 skinless and boneless white fish and 1 pack of chicken breasts ( the chicken and white fish are for the dog - she's a bit poorly at the moment so is on a bland diet).

Sweet potato, rice, chicken, fish and kibble for the dog.

I might try that myself for dinner tonight (without the kibble of course) ;)

A colourful veggie breakfast this morning. New boiled potatoes (air fried), courgette and green beans from the allotment.

On the radio this morning

Some Japanese fruit cake had his genitalia removed

Went on face book
And offered to cook said item for any one who wanted to pay 250 squid for it

There were 5 takers who paid 250 each and sat down to a meal of his cooked Willy and testicals served with mushrooms

Apart from the usual French fare, we had a couple of hot freshly cooked dishes.

Courgette crumble - it’s given me an idea for all those courgettes I’m growing on the allotment.

Followed by some kind of apple pastry.

Both were very nice.

If you are in Brittany, the apple is king.

Tarte Tatin, cider and calvados are the best in this part of the world.

And cheeses, milks and creams.

Think of Brittany like our West Country. They were once joined together.

Couldn't tell you what it is but it's healthy and tasty
There is 3 types of fish yogurt mushrooms
Pumpkin and all other sorts of things.

I love mushrooms, they go with anything.

All sorts of goodness. Rather this every morning than a full English
