I was just confused by why it is so important for you to know. Somebody asks a question on a discussion forum. Another person provides them with information. That is how a discussion is supposed to work. In my experience, anyway.

Until a couple of months ago, I didn't even know there was a Gender Recognition Act. So this is all new to me. But as far as I can see, its primary purpose still exists. It was only the potential conflicts with the Equality Act which the Supreme Court were ruling on.
