Also, they don't like being dragged into the trans terminology battle.

That wasn't the issue that morqthana was referring to. He was referring to the use of terminology and the participation and reasons for that participation by transgenders.

But, to address the issue which you prefer to address, medical science now recognises that the idea of sexual development being a simple binary choice is a fallacy.
If you wish to cling to the outdated fallacy, you are entitled to do so.
There have been numerous articles from distinguished professionals and institutes refuting the fallacy of only binary sex characterisitics. But you refuse to read them or to discuss the issues contained within those articles.
The analogy of minds and parachutes is very appropriate.

All we've had so far is Youtubers giving their opinion, re-runs of TV discussions, and the article presented by Dick Turpin that didn't support the fallacy of binary sex anyway.
