Australia is a Nanny state and I like that. I think many people don't know how yo behave.

Little laws like.

You can't park on the opposite side of the road facing oncoming traffic.

Try doing that in the US, I know in DC you will get a ticket!

The US...

The country where crossing the road unlawfully will get you a $60 fine.

But owning a semi automatic rifle is fine, because its less dangerous.

Ban the Burka same as france , Denmark, Austria
Totally agree but thread not for that.
Whats the thread for then ?? thought it was something along the lines of adopt laws from other countries ?
Bodd is being disingenuous again. That was exactly why the thread was created, by the poster that exploits every opportunity to stir up hatred against foreigners. The poster that tests the boundaries of hate offences.

Bodd may phrase things in a clumsy way but I see no proof he stirs up hatred against foreigners. If anything his posts show he has a number of foreign friends and is is anti zenophobic attitudes.

What laws do you think work well in a foreign land that you think would work well in the UK.
In my partners birth country you can't 'disinherit' your children.

For example, if one parent dies the resultant estate is still deemed to be allocated 50/50 upon the death of the second parent regardless of future relationships.

In this country, if the remaining parent has a new family the original children can be 'frozen out'.

Then you are conveniently ignoring his intentionally racist expressions.
Most of which have been modified by a mod without leaving a visible (to us posters) audit trail.

The difference is we don't enforce laws I suppose.

Isn't that the real issue.

We have enough laws to cover everything, why do we need to copy others, just enforce the ones we have. But therin lies a problem, that is the root cause, of most of the issues raised in these threads

I see, you conveniently have no proof. That must be the first time thats happened :ROFLMAO:

I'm sure there could be down sides but that would sit well i think

Your right but if laws work in other country's then why not look at them

If you can't produce the evidence then say what I have said and if it's true I'll openly admit and if I have an explanation then I'll explain myself.

I know who I am as a person so let's see where this goes. Can I ask if you start another thread about me as this is a bit off topic
