Another question, Festive:
If, as you seem to agree, 75% of MPs think it would be (very) bad for the UK to leave the EU, what do you think they should do?
Just answer the question as written; ignore the fact that you happen to disagree.
Hey ELF
Yep from the hip..
Priority A if they really are keen on what is the best for the UK they should be resolving the political stalemate.
Parliament currently has control, the pound and business are In turmoil here not just because of what might happen but what isnt happening.
If I was this side of the house i would now stick my neck out and take control (hah!) and orchestrate an agreed way forward to ensure we focus on a suggested brexit process in the form of the meaningful vote options till a house agreed Brexit agreement that would satisfy the eu and backstop alternative and put this to the government as the only tenable solution.
But this will never work we will only ever leave just as all options failed before because the underlying remain majority dont want us to brexit so will strategically spoil any progress.
Just as an example whatever any current or past government implement such an example extended stay for students the opposition are always always critical of a perceived improvement for the UK they just cant back it no matter what, they must attempt to see the negative or negate it's positive motive. Its indoctrinated into every opposing mp and it stinks.
None of them would last a nanosecond in most successful businesses today.
My point is no matter what Boris brings to the table labour et all will oppose it, it's in their DNA to do so and not for the best of the country.
Emotions are running high here I get it...but lets focus on restoring order. Even if it means an utter Travesty of my personal and many others not forgetting a denial to democracy. Something must change but opposing MPs must stop using this as an extended way to denigrate and take the government to pieces to ensure they the opposition parties (one of them) win the next election by popular opinion first. That's their priority here for them.
Boris wont be backed due to the majority of remain in the house.
=We will only ever be booted out by the EU.
I personally believe the supreme court will go with English high court ruling, there is too much credibility at stake. Either way its wasted time and effort those idiots should be spending on resolving this issue. On this forum here we have idiots cheering it on like an opposing bunch of football hooligans its embarrassing. The world is laughing at us.
