True, look what happened in 1975, idiots,eh!
Even if people have a phd in economics politics and astrology...They have differing political persuasions...Another example of EFL's ego going faster than his braincell.

As a LibDem voter.

I care not a jot what anyone thinks about this!

I voted LibDem for two reasons:

1. Labour in this area have no hope.

2. The Tories have completely effed up this country in the last nine years.

Tactical vote for me.

You REALLY need to let go of the '70s you miserable old duffer.
Were they THAT bad ? Most of the people who voted to stay in the common market back then are most likely all the coffin dodgers that JohnD says are dying off who voted to leave the eu. If it had stayed as the common market, the referendum to leave the eu would not have been needed.

Any one listen to that Jo Swinson being interviewed on womans hour on radio 4 on Friday ?

jeez us wept what a car crash

she never had a scooby trying to explain her policies :)

one felt embarrassed for her

like Margaret Thatcher who was the architect of the single market
The "common" market, with little interference in our daily lives was a good thing, the single market is not much more, less or no barriers for trade and people, but it grew and grew and people in charge craved more control over everyone and everything, their goal is a European super state, with its own army, currency and anthem, and we nearly got assimilated.

but it grew and grew and people in charge craved more control over everyone and everything

The EU allows 25 brexit party MEPs in its parliament.

The Conservative party kicked out 21MPs just because they voted in the best interests of the UK not boris buffoon.

Clearly brexiteers are confused which craves more control

They voted to stop brexit which is clearly not in the best interests of the uk.
Not enough of them kicked out.
