Hey, remainers. What’s gone wrong here?

Yes, let’s all celebrate some good news that some U.K. workers will still be employed by a foreign owned manufacturer. I am truly astounded why you lot continue to live in the UK if it’s as bad as you make out. Why don’t you all move to the EU? Seriously.

How do you spell RED backwards?

DER!!

When you say follow, does that mean you're going to quote news sources from only six months ago rather than seven?

This really isn't news. Also, since it happened before we left the single market, is it really a point for Brexit or against it. After all at that time we were part of the EU in practice.
Indeed it is news..For 4 years remoaners have been saying Nissan Sunderland will close due to Brexit..Proved 100% wrong whichever words people care to use and twist out of being wrong.

Spain has had problems with car making moving out before. Just wonder why ;)

Building a battery plant in the UK is good news. I don't know if it qualifies as a Brexit bonus as we might have had that built here anyway, but good news.

Not anger, just disappointment.

"From 2027 all British and European carmakers will have to source batteries from either the UK or EU, as agreed in the Brexit deal, or face tariffs on their exports."

In or out the same decision would have been made.

Once the new Japan trade deal kicksin fully in 7 years they can import all their cars tariff and tax free. This will all be revisited.

And..Shock horror? Battery deals revisited in 6 years time...Why would that be unusual?
I think Sir Gal was looking ahead to when the EU/Japan deal really starts working and Japan can export cars built in Japan, to EU tariff free, rather than relying on cars built in UK.

Yes Razzler.I think so too.(2027 to be precise)

The car makers work in a pretty simple way - sums and the likely profit. Building new is generally always good for where it's sited. At some point sums are done again.

Manufacture in general is much the same.

BMW engine plant is the way other things may go - no telling which way.

Why don’t you all move to the EU?.
I was correct in saying that you are more likely to get sense out of a dead dog than a brexiteer...

Brexiteers made moving to the EU now far more difficult than they care to admit

You should have all gone while we were still in the EU. Are you lot stupid or what? Anyway, you’ve been off this site for a while. Double shifts at the care home?
