reading this thread has been very informative, but to be honest i hate all politicians, they are all lying scum so why are we surprised when things go wrong?
one group is just as bad as the other and simply blame the outgoing mob for the mess they make trying to fix it

Ironically though, in a bout a gloating, the numbfck Chief secretary to the Treasury apparently left a note saying they had spent the lot and the pot was empty - i know, stating the bleeding obvious

I was no fan of maggie and welcomed the new Labour government with the hope of a bit more of a fairer go for folks and soon got ****ed of with the Blair lot one of the first thing they did was put up the price of higher education if Maggie had done that there would have been a masssive outcry, and to top that,he becomes Bushes lap dog takes to war on a lie about WMDs,so as you say scumbags all round.

Maggie was no scumbag. When she left office the country was in much better shape than when she took office.
She stood up to the argies, the ira and the eu. A real fighter.

More than you can say for the last bunch of true scumbags who not only bankrupted the country but sold it down the river to a foreign power.

Same as different trades knocking the other trades .
It's the same the world over .Everybody knocks everyone else--period.

However- Maggie at least sorted out the malingerers and the 'doomed to fail anytime soon' industries. Full credit to her.
But- all in vain- when labour got in and opened the floodgates to the people who did not even work and fail-- . The people who had never put in a days work in this fine country and still wanted everything and anything for free.
UK is now a doomed nation- thanks to labour policies and European policies.. Will never ever recover . Too many spongers who were not even born here .

Since 04 over a million foreigners have settled here.
When eu rules permit in about a years time over 25 million roma and bulgarians will have the right too settle here too.
They will be given a national insurance number and full rights to claim benefits.
Will anyone bat an eyelid. Nope.

UK officials enforce eu rules with a zealous enthusiam in order to be seen as good little europeans. And of course to generate revenue.
The other nations pick and choose whats best for them.

One example is the recent haulage licence introduction for 7 ton owner operators within their own business and not hauling for profit.
£800 quid every 4 years and a weeks training to comply.
So almost a few thousand quid into pockets who don't deserve it.

We had to sell our 7 ton lorry. And for a pittance as the market is flooded with them. Another kick in the teeth for ssmall businesses.
If it gets any worse we'll be using f~~king horses.

Germany didn't adopt this. Well they ain't broke are they?

Who sold off our national services, oil, gas electric etc etc, Thatcher!

Who deregulated the city banks in the 80's, which probably caused the crisis we are in now through dodgy dealings, Thatcher!
