Add to this the apparent plan to charge £30 for a box of 7 testing kits, and then more people will be excluded from work, because a negative LFT is often required whether jabbed or not...

A rumour that was prompt denied. There is always the possibility that there will be a charge of some sort at some point but it wont be while people are expected to check if they have covid.

The NHS and social care systems are on the point of collapse...

No they have had to cut back to emergency only, Covid is one if a hospital is needed. Their main problem is funding and not enough of certain types of staff.

I was bemused when May said a ring fenced health budget is needed,
