Say you have to disconnect and cap an appliance because it is I.D, but you havent got any caps, what would you do?

Also, how would you cap a back boiler or even a normal wall hung boiler?

Thanks

Scary stuff tonight.

You need iron plugs/caps/compression caps for every conceivable bit of pipework and fitting. Also get caps and sealing discs for gas meters. Get loads of warning labels and warning notices. If you're doing the job properly you'll be disconnecting appliances all the time especially gas fires.

Also get fittings to connect onto any type of fitting with adapters so you can T.T aplliances and pipework with the bellows and manometer connected.

Don't they have an "essential" list of tools/fittings when you leave gas college?

28mm endfeed caps
22mm endfeed caps
15mm endfeed caps
